I come under havering council and live in a semi detached house. I have a 3 meter extension already in place to the rear of the house.
I want to attach a 3 or 5 meter conservatory onto that. I am getting very different view on whether I need PM or not. I have phone PM office who just said submit plans and we will review (excellent !) Any Advice welcome.

I suggest you view the conservatory/rear extension link on this site. In theory, you can cover up to 50% of your rear gardens with buildings. The only issue is to do with height of the proposed structure and relation to adjoining fence boundaries.

Certainly, you can seek the advice of the local authority who can notify in writing what their opinion is. Beyond this, I suggest you contact the conservatory company and or one of the planning consultants on this website.
