We are buying an old farmhouse made up of two separate buildings. One is the main dwelling and the second is not connected to the main house, but part of a u configuration. It has been used as a granny annex with a shower and single living room. I want to make this annex a personal training gym where I can train clients (in very small numbers... One or two at a time). Do I need planning permission for this? The gym will be for my use as well. Structurally I'm not changing the building.. Just putting some bifold doors in and making the interior more practical.
