Permitted Development?

We have a detached bungalow with an attached single garage that was built at the same time as the bungalow. Is a garage classed as part of the original dwelling under permitted Development? We’re planning on extending the width of the bungalow including the garage and 4m out, Thanks

Attached garages built at the same time as the original dwelling would be considered to be part of the original dwelling house.
