A group of ex council owned garages (now housing association) adjoin my land. The back wall basically forms the boundary.
I was told they were changing the corrugated sheets to a sheet less prone to condensation and access may be required via my property.
No problem.
However, I saw quite a bit of timber going on top of the walls which seemed a tad strange.
It appears they are changing the fall from front to back, to back to front.
They have raised it by around 450mm.
Should they have had planning permission to do this and should I have been informed in writing?
Also, they have changed the use from 'domestic' garages to storage units.
This obviously means more vans etc and who knows what being stored in the units.
Do they need planning permission for that, and should they have notified those it affects?
I've had a quick look for any applications but they don't make it too easy.
If I want specifics its £50.
Any info/advice much appreciated.
Cheers
