Hi all
We live on a corner plot and there's a covenant preventing us from building within 25 feet of the boundary. We want to put an outhouse up - either for a home office or garden storage or possibly both.
Are these kind of things enforced? We bought the house and there's a shed there already, clearly been there for many years, so wondered whether this is just a historic thing or whether councils do like to enforce it.
And if so, presumably I'd need planning to put a shed/outhouse up there?

Being a corner plot, you may well require Planning as you have added additional restrictions being bounded by two highways.
Covenants are legal issues, not Planning. So you would need to speak to a legal person/team on that point.
