Create Annex for Disabled child with a hope for independent living

Hi I have a detached Garage/summer house that is suitable to be converted to an annex for my child who is mid 20s and would like to live independently but may not quite manage it. I fear the panning department may not be keen on the conversion? I havent asked yet. Any advice please

Check your LPA’s policies along with other applications within the Borough that have received approvals for annexes.

You could also submit a Pre-application request to receive the LPA’s informal advice.
