I have a 1930's semi with a kitchen in an outrigger (Plan is reverse L shape) which was all part of original house.
I want to extend lounge to the end of kitchen outrigger (2.5m) single storey and also extend to the side of property (1m) again single storey - retaining the existing kitchen outrigger.
Is this classed as PD - not clear form the examples in the guidance.
Thanks.

The rear infill would need to meet the PD guidelines for side and rear extensions. The right hand d side would need to meet the PD guidelines for side extensions.

It sounds like it would constitute PD. But you’d also have to check it meets all the other requirements, e.g. heights, distances to boundaries, position of the highway, etc…
