Planning permission on agricultural land

Hello,

I'm looking to make use of agricultural land for a variety of uses, all of which I believe will be fine under agricultural use:

1. Cutting hay
2. Siting beehives for the production of honey
3. Planting an orchard for growing and harvesting fruit

I would like some on-site storage, but I'm not sure what I would need permission for and what I would not.

I've considered a few things:

1. A small steel container, 5 feet by 3 feet
2. A small steel container, 7 feet by 3 feet
3. A fenced off area, using 6 feet fence panels and a gate, to create an enclosed storage area. (approx 3 meters by 6 meters)

Would any of the above need planning permission?

We would be careful not to site any fencing near the boundary of the highway.

You would be better off submitting an informal Pre-application enquiry to the Local Planning Authority.
