Wales - Out buildings within 2m boundary of house

The welsh planning guidance for outbuildings siting states:

Outbuildings are considered to be permitted development, not needing planning permission, subject to the following limits and conditions:
any part of the development within 2 metres of the house cannot exceed a height of 1.5 metres.

Does this mean I can not place a shed or summerhouse within 2 metres of my house even if under 2.5m in height?

Thanks

It does appear so. I had to check as we don’t have that limitation in England and appears to be very restrictive. So make sure it’s at least 2m from the house, then you can go up to 2.5m.

Thanks Damian. It is very restrictive!
