Yurt erection - planning permission?

I hope to gain some knowledge here. I’ve spent a long time on the planning portal and my local authority website and nothing is clear.
I have a section of land next to my workshop. I want to put an 18ft yurt there as an extension to my workshop. It will be used as a wellness centre and a place to hold workshops.
Some say I don’t need permission but some say I do.
Does anyone here have any knowledge?

Hello,

We would need more information to help with this. What is the use of the land currently, is it agricultural/paddock for example? If so, you would at the minimum need permission for the change of use of the land.

Is the land within the residential curtilage to your residential property? If not, you will require Planning.
